April 1995 Kenedix, charged with heading up real estate operations (real estate investment advisory) in Japan for Kennedy-Wilson, Inc., opens its doors as Kennedy-Wilson Japan at 3-12-12 Kojimachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
October 1997 Kenedix begins the non-performing loan(NPL) investment management business.
August 1998 Kenedix moves its head office to 1-6-15 Nishi Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
September 1998 Kenedix provides NPL investment support services to U.S.-based institutional investors.
February 1999 Kenedix provides investment support for the data center building in Kawasaki, Japan. To fund this project, the company arranges Japan's first non-recourse loan for real estate. This project signaled Kenedix's full-fledged entry into asset management.
November 1999 Kenedix establishes Pacific Servicing Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned, consolidated subsidiary.
January 2000 Kenedix establishes a mid-sized office building investment fund, largely funded by U.S.-based client investors.
February 2000 Pacific Servicing begins full-scale NPL investment and debt servicing operations, following approval to engage in these businesses from Japan's Minister of Justice.
January 2002 Kenedix moves its head office to its current location at 2-2-9 Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
February 2002 Kenedix is listed on the Osaka Securities Exchange's Hercules Nippon New Market (formerly NASDAQ Japan).
October 2002 The Osaka Branch Office opens on the second floor of the Honmachi Mitsui Bldg. at 4-4-25 Honmachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka.
August 2003 Kenedix forms a business tie-up with Mitsui & Co., Ltd., increasing its shares in Mitsui & Co. via private placement.
November 2003 Kenedix establishes KW Pension Fund Advisors Co., Ltd.(currently, Kenedix Advisors Co., Ltd.) to assume asset management operations, following the formation of a pension fund-based real estate investment fund.
November 2003 Establishment of KW REIT Management Co., Ltd.(currently, Kenedix REIT Management, Inc.)
December 2003 Kenedix is listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
December 2004 Kenedix is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
May 2005 Changes the company name from Kennedy-Wilson Japan Co., Ltd. to Kenedix, Inc.
May 2005 Japan Logistics Fund, Inc. as Japan's first REIT specialized in logistics facilities through joint management by Mitsui & Co., Ltd. , The Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Company, Limited and Kenedix is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
July 2005 Kenedix Realty Investment Corporation managed by Kenedix Reit Management Co., Ltd., which is a 100% consolidated subsidiary of Kenedix is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
January 2006 Kenedix took a 20% stake in KW Multi-family Management Group, Ltd., an asset manager subsidiary of Kenedy-Wilson Inc., which specializes in investment into housing complexes.
April 2007 Challenger Kenedix Japan Trust, a real estate investment trust joint venture with an Australian company, Challenger Financial Service Group Limited: CFG, is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
December 2007 Kenedix group's AUM has exceeded \700billion.
December 2007 Kenedix made Commercial RE Co. its affiliated company by increasing its stake.
